I guess freedom has no escape from the dual plurarity of positive and negative. In this case the negative is pronounced. It is a rather dark and sad conclusion, but certainly one can not argue that this vessel is no longer responding to whatever the torment was. A thoughtful image. Bump.

This must be herald as one of the truly great studies in the DPC arena. This is a piece of art that is gut wrenching and then beautiful. It is an idea brought to fruition with so much visual power that another look is required. In my opinion, this is by far the most impressive image I have seen in the corridors of DPC. I recall how my senses were floored when I first laid eyes on Dali's crusufixion. Well, a similar feeling overtook me when I came upon this image. It is one that I can call a masterpiece.
