Great idea and great look. The red gives that old artistic pleasing combo of white, black and red. Very nice job. |

Very cute concept. In this case tha b/w (which looks good) dies not lend the petal the delicate rendition of the perals. I am certain you probably wrestled with color versud b/w. Despite my comment, you nevertheless have an attractive entranr here. |

Grand Pianoby kirtiebuComment: returning for comments
This view is only the property of the grand. Somehow these strings look very unkept, while the hammers look to be in very good shape. In shooting this again I would consider polishing the strings. It is messy and painstaking but just doing the erea you will shoot will give you a suoer shot. A very good comp and very neat crop. |

You have made this a true part by using dof to really bring out the key. |

The Hornetby rhipsterComment: fascinating, colorful and great impact. The angle adds tension and the detail in the face is just grand. A great capture and a worthy entrant to this contest. Bumping up to 7 |

A Study in Colorby HRoxasComment: Now some people miss the point altogether when they lock into a style and believe that expression is limited in others. Here is a studio shot that that is more moving than anything else in this contest. It does for the aesthetic senses what ambrosia does for the gods. It arouses the tactile senses and this is a feat that can not be accomplished without superb technique. The near perfection in this image and the sense of beauty it invokes deserves its place at the very top.
Not many are capable of achieving such beauty. My guess is EddieG
Yes, there are many that will say, really, what about the other emotive studies? My reply is look at the image and tell me that you do not feel the texture 'neath your fingers and were your senses not dazzled by the color. Show me how many images can capture your fancy so? This can hang in a Museum. Fonal consideration 8 |

A Proud Birdby mariomelComment: Well this is as complete as it can be and the quality is certainly and truly in the masters' category. The detail is crystal clear. The texture most convincing and the post processing immaculate. The dof is well employed creating the perfect sudued background for such a proud study. This has a Jacko feel. Bumping up to 8 |

The Splash of a Kiwiby terjeComment: It is very sad that even in the master's challenge, the overall technique of many members is so wanting that they question an effect to contradict with validation what their comprehension denies them. Do these members really believe that an entrant would risk their reputation to suffer a DQ? Please, look at more pictures daily and at least extend the courtesy of the doubt.
This image has a very strong visaul impact, but its greatmess is not rooted in art but a deftly and lethal technique whose output creates a sci-fi effect. great.
