Evening Strollby leafComment: from the critique club:
Allow me to comment on this image outside the constrains of the challenge directions. You have received enough flak. I do it too, that is offer my interpretation knowing in many cases that it will come back to haunt me. A more prominent singular Waldo would have netted you a much higher finish because the quality of the image is above average.
What gives this image its magic is the lilac-lavender ethereal sky versus the super mundane foreground and losing all visibility as it sinks in the first zone. Then this winding road that leads the eyes to the houses. Here a special feeling is invoked due to the cozy like houses as if the viewer lived here or wish to. The lavender is reflected at the upper part of the road and this just adds ambience.
The composition is at its strongest point because you even have branches partly covering the lower road. It is indeed a very good capture and beyond technical and artistic questions. It is a home runof an image.
This is one of those images which I can not improve upon and it must be a beautiful sight to see printed. Make sure that you adhere to challenge descriptions. I will take this advise too.lol |

A capture that seizes the apex of the moment with icy blue lighting. |
