I'm a sucker for cool abstracts and zoom photography. Colors are vibrant and the composition is exciting. Good imaginative effort. 7

I really have no idea what this is but if I did, I'd say the composition is strong and the colors are vibrant. That said, you gat a 7. Good luck!

I think you really nailed the flames in this image. Tough to do but you did it. Good luck!

Gorgeous photo. I gave this an 8 and would have gladly scored higher with the exception that the crop on top and bottom is a smidge too tight IMO. Otherwise, flawless.

This is my pick for the blue. Everything from the composition to the colors and sharpness etc is perfect. Congrats on the ribbon. ;-)

Great shot. I like the vignetting. Creates a very faint rainbow along the bottom edge.

I have been checking in on your work for a while and will make an effort to articulate what I see. In my observations, your images are not "staged" or "excessively composed" but are casual references to the poingnant realities we saunter past, unnoticed, every day. The images are reflective and the feelings they evoke are familiar.

For those who choose to get caught up on the technical nonsense it is a shame. It is much like criticizing the flight path of a falling leaf.

I enjoy the sincerity of your photos and the ease I experience when looking at them.

Nice work.

Another attempt at light painting. Only problem is that this attempt was rushed as I decided to slap something together in the last hour before the challenge submission deadline. Okay .... for the benefit of those who were curious and for the the kind comments given, this is how I did it.....though poorly. I inserted a glow in the dark bracelet into my cordless drill and spun the darn thing at low speeds in various parts of the frame, or what I thought was the frame in a pitch black basement. The wine glass was taped at the base but seemed to have vibrated with the bracelet slapping around the inside, hence the blur. Crap. The wine glass was not centered because I could not figure where the center of the frame would be because it was ..... hmmmm .... really dark! Other than that, far too much fun and only a prelude to other shots which I hope will mystify future viewers. I'd really suggest others give this technique a try as it an artistically accesible side of photography that can yield amazing results.

Finally, the title. W seemed like a nice letter that day.

I'm done typing now. ;-)

Funny, I looked at this and identified this as similar to the work of the Group of Seven even before reading the description. Really quite outstanding, and with a few brush strokes, a dead ringer. As a photo, the only issue I'd have is the haloing on the ridge line and slight heavier use of color saturation that maybe needed. Other than that, a vista worth revisiting and certainly an inspiration for a series of images. Nice job.
