Self-mirroringby shoggyComment: looks like it slipped past most voters, still getting above your average in a FS is always nice. |

Blue Martin, maleby Shy ClickerComment: without the title, I would not have an idea of how this met the challenge. Outside the challenge I think the shot is very well done, he appears to be a patient father as the child wails away for food, or he is ignoring the little bird. lol |

Saphireby MAKComment: I would prefer a larger image to thick border. I do like the sharpness in the details |

What a peaceful dayby _Mindy_Comment: I like the leading lines of blue, I think a straighter horizon may have helped this out. I also like the hints of mountain reflection. |

Blue strawberry lipsby SteelStilettosComment: If you have photoshop you should use the Save for Web feature, it will get your photo close to the maximum allowable size 150 kb and 640 pixels which will show the most details. Your image is only 492 pixels on its largest dimension. Here is a DPC tutorial to help you. |

I am not sure how close you cropped, but it may have worked a little better if the bird was in the bottom right corner and moving into the photo rather swimming out of the image. Just my opinion. |

What's on your night stand?by LuvLiveSmileComment: unfortunately with DPC's size requirements, thin crops do not work so well as you don't use alot of the space. Also if you have photoshop you should use the Save for Web feature, it will get you photo to the maximum allowable size 150 kb which will show the most details. Your image is only ~50 kb. Here is a DPC tutorial to help you. |

Cheesy......by LutchenkoComment: I am guessing this is bleu cheese? will get slammed in voting I think. If you used your camera's onboard flash you can put a mirror just above and behind the apple out of frame to bounce the light back down to give the photo more depth, it will add some highlights to the apple and cheese. |

so mad he saw bloodby pooleaComment: I am guessing you put this in the wrong challenge...
You should take a look at this tutorial for getting images ready for challenges if you have photoshop. Using the the Save for Web feature will allow you to get the most detail you can. |
