157452 - Broadway Towerby ArtanComment: I think the one huge difference that you didn't put dow is where you were in relation to the castle and model. I think the different horizon really changes the photo as well. Not having two of the pillars facing the viewer on the hill liek the original changes a critical element in the shot. Still a great shot and improving on a 7.1 shot is nearly impossible and this newer version is great also. |

Child in Nature ~ Mirrors Redux by jenesisComment: great job jen, very awesome job! I think it was a very good thing that you didnt have access to your old rectangular mirror, I think the oval one really helped make the shot. Congratulations! |

Me Myself and I by terjeComment: I had this as one of my top three rated photos and knew it was going to ribbon the first time I saw it. But I want to know if you could tell us what challenge this was from originally? I went through your portfolio and saw nothing similar at all. I would love to compare your other shot to see how it improved. Message edited by author 2006-06-13 01:12:28. |

Hidden in the woodsby cbonsallComment: this is a great find, but your water highlights are blown out too much especially in the foreground, otherwise I like he composition |

Shadow of Hopeby bryantbusComment: I like the ad on the the person ont the right. "For Sale Silky male, 2 females." creative shot to have different shadows in the background, but it did take me a a couple looks to get to that because of so many words in the foreground. |

Caught Redhandedby mpetersComment: I wonder where this was shot, there is something similar in oakland ca, I will have to come back and see where this was. It looks like som of the pants are blown out, but that could also just be white paint, I like the compsoition. |

Partido del Piñata!!by ShermyComment: really like how you made the focus on the shadows and a great idea for the challenge. My ownly critique is that the candy looks like it was placed by hand, I could be wrong. Also might have been interesting if you had the girl hitting the pinata and having candy coming out so you could see candy dropping and the shadows of the candy falling. Just some suggestions. |

Winter Shadowby philupComment: infrared fun, nice shot but I would have like to ahve seen longer shadows. But the compostion is great and has definite dreamy feel. I also like that there are no other distracting elements in the photo just tree shadow sky. |
