| can't believe this only finished 20th. not a bad score per se, but this deserved so much more! hilarious, fun, dramatic, technically flawless, imaginative, unabashedly violent towards innocent pinatas, the works. and one of the best presentations of a shadow in the challenge. |

| excellent idea, wonderful capture. i have no idea how much control you had over this shot, but believe that the drab decking probably kept your score down. can't say for sure, but this might have done better as a bw. all the same, great work--keep it up! |

| love the dynamic leg positioning around the scattered candies. I can't decide if the shadow is icing on the cake or if it is too obvious... but damn it's such a fantastic shape. It reminds me of Lewis Carroll for some reason. 9. |

| Really enjoyed a second contrast - first attention is clearly on a child with children's toys/candy sort of innocent. The shadow is not innocent at all, quite vicious looking. |

| this is one of my favourite 3 of the challenge. it's brilliantly amusing, it's a perfect example of using shadow to full effect, it's creative, and thoroughly enjoyable. the pose is just super. best example of meeting the challenge i have seen. well done. gave this a 10. |

| really like how you made the focus on the shadows and a great idea for the challenge. My ownly critique is that the candy looks like it was placed by hand, I could be wrong. Also might have been interesting if you had the girl hitting the pinata and having candy coming out so you could see candy dropping and the shadows of the candy falling. Just some suggestions. |

| very nice, not a huge fan of the color but the shadow is great and it tells a good story- hope your subject didn't get to hyper on all that candy you promised her |
