In Nature's Good Companyby xtianComment: This is the first person in nature shot that really seems to exude alot of emotion for me. I think it comes form the framing and how as the tree opens up there the figure really taking it all in. Maybe its because I connect with living by the ocean, either way it works for me. |

Punk Roxby PDImagesComment: I would think you would plug the electric guitar in, no? :P
This has great lighting and the outfit is nice too, it feels a little cramped but maybe that is symbolic of the man trying to keep punk down. |

hand-me-down dressby Deb_SComment: I saw this one somewhere around here for a sec, but can't remember whose it was. I really like it as a portrait and hope it doesn't get to shot down for showing some face. The black and white works perfectly and all her body language seems to show how she really feels about the hand me down. excellent. |

Pure Concentrationby BrookiedComment: I like the idea and the tilt too. This is a tough one, I am sure the driver is concentrating but it seems hard get the whole feeling, just my opinion not to worry I am not voting :). In a lot of cases I think breaking the rule of thirds works but in this time I think it may have helped to atleast not have the head centered. Kudos though for coming up with a photo that faces forward, not backlit and still able to show emotion. |

Fill your life with joy by LalliSigComment: nice hops :)
a nice portrait and DoF, although I get the emotion it doesn't feel so extreme. But one person's extreme may not be another's...
I like the idea of the balloons but if they had more color I think it would have been better. everything else is well done, nice and crisp. |

untitledby J-MeComment: Its an interesting photo and in a photo like this its all in the details. For me I assume the photo was a gift, but the photo seems pretty formal and more of a headshot which makes me think maybe the the person on the other end got sick of their vanity. To me the blood seem to placed, if they had stabbed the person there wold be more than just a few drops and splatters on the end of the knife. For a set up like this I like to see it over the top. The lighting you used is really well done and the shadows are really soft and I like that there is no glare on the photo. |

crabsticks by boysetsfireComment: Are you still using that polarizer at all? This has great light, the lampost's light looks 2 dimensional. I think the guy in the sunglasses is a seriously funny dude and told the guys behind some great one liner as he walked by, but he didn't stop he knew it was funny and just kept walking. |

her patience has grown thin...by nostalgicComment: cool frame, I wonder if it is someone or herself who she has lost patience in. I really like the scene and how her head is just touching the horizon. I would think if it is someone she has no patience for anymore she is deciding what to do and has not done it yet. She is not bloody and I figured she would put that hair band on her wrist in her hair to keep it out of her face during the murderous rampage, unless of course its just a back up. :P |

Hell Hath No Fury......by JamesKWComment: I am no CSI but I would expect more blood :P
A nice set up shot and definitely tells a story but seems a little fake to feel extreme. Of course would I really want to see a shot that the victim appears to actually shot? Please excuse my ramblings I am not voting just commenting on the images. Maybe some detail in the dead man's hands would have added to the tale and give a reason for the viewer to wonder why the death.

Beaten by the elements / Fearby ksymeonComment: This has great color and the poor guy appears to be getting beaten down in a hurry! I couldn't decide between what I think is an extreme emotion, or action so I am not voting just commenting but I think this photo definitely has both, for this guy I am sure it was all intense. The stop action really adds to this moment too. |
