Fallingby scribeComment: This is a strange one... can't figure out how you did it or exactly what you had in mind. But it draws me in, makes me look, makes me think and ponder. And it has beautiful lighting and color. A picture that makes me think and is well taken deserves a better than average score so that's what I'm giving it. |

End of a Revolutionby mariomelComment: Wonderful colorful sky and reflection. I'd just love to see something in the foreground to set this off, a boat with a fisherman, some ducks... to give the forground a focal point. But you can't control what's there when you are taking a picture and this is a gorgeous sunset. |

Daydreamerby dagills22191Comment: Very sweet portrait. I like the lighting very much. You can picture the window just in front of her eyes as she looks out and dreams. Very nice. |

Following The Fleetby byoungComment: Wow! This is one gorgeous seagul photo. The purity of the white against the blue. The sharp focus on his beak and eyes. The curve of the upper wing. Bravo! |

Brillianceby timj351Comment: It is so hard to get a backlit tree to look luminescent like this. You've done a great job here. I especially like the dark curving branches against the bright leaves. |

A Touch of Monetby waterliliesComment: It is very hard to get a lily pond shot that isn't cluttered. You have achieved this with this lovely image. |

Touched by the Evening Light by librodoComment: I really like this portrait. The use of sepia tone works very well. The lighting is beautiful and dramatic. The balance of the dark figure on the left and the bright area on the right is wonderful. My only wish would be to see her eye a bit more clearly but that is a minor issue as the rest is so beautifully moving. |

Every line has a storyby jmritzComment: What a beautiful portrait of a life! Your title is also magnificent. This celebrates the living of a life and gives deep meaning to age. In our agist society this is a welcome look at having lived awhile. Thank you! My vote - 10 for photographic expertise, 10 for subject. |

Drifterby soupComment: Elegant photo of one of my favorite butterflies. These are not easy to catch sitting still. What really works for me about this is the simplicity of the composition and the out of focus deep green background. Very well done. |
