Time Passagesby GotchaComment: In my initial vote I gave this an 8. Now that I am reviewing my initial responses I find this to be most excellent. How did you achieve that back lighting effect? =10 Syamjonimi |

Before His Timeby TomNTexasComment: Disgusting..........and the feet are obviously young. The photo is good. Well lit, good focus......Just doesn't meet the challenge...... =5 for the effort syamjonimi |

Atom 153by boyte1Comment: This is a very personable photo. I would give it a 10 without the lighting glare and I find the blue background with the lint distracting. =8 |

by candle lightby BNCComment: I sure hope everyone who votes on this photo takes the time to let the page load fully. From the thumbnail I was thinking "1", then afer looking at the expanded view I discovered why it is so dark. This is a very good "available light" photo. It is quite clear and it is easy to distinguish what the separate opbjects are. The darkness of the photo almost lends it an almost sinister feel rather than and older feel. Still I think this is very good. I know how difficult it is to get a good clear shot with no lights. =7 syamjonimi |

All the Marblesby KathycComment: Superb... I can't see anything distracting in this photo.....The angle, clarity, lighting and cropping are all complimentary to each other. =10 Syamjonimi |

gone long ago...but not forgottenby TerryGeeComment: I also submitted a graveyard photo. I spent 3 afternoons in 2 different cemetaries and discovered this is quite a difficult subject. ps: my photo isn't doing as well as I expected. Your shot sure fits the challenge but I can't quite figure out where to focus my eye. =4 - in my humble opinion - syamjonimi |

old but still in useby wolfjackComment: A striaght-on shot from a different direction would have made this very appealing. The chain link fence in the background leads my mind astray from the age of the hand pump. The out of focus handle also distracts my vision from the center of the picture. |

Old Burial Hillby sgtpepper6344Comment: I too spent some time in the cemetary this past week.....I discovered that tombstones are a much more difficult subject than I had anticipated. I think this would have more impact if taken without the bright sun in the background.....=5 syamjonimi |
