This is really neat (similar to langdon or drew'). I love the colors and the great detail. It's great, cept that something is off a little, but can't figure it out. Maybe, cropping tighter, so that there is no black on the sides....just a thought - what do I know. Wonderful. 8

OK, well gonna just say it straight - I don't like the over contrast/sharp spots - it distracts me - When I look at this, I keep focusing on those spots. I understand that they are most likely from the light shining on the juice of the orange, but I believe that it can be avoided and still have the appearance of being wet. Other than that, I really like this...Great orange color, Great composition and great execution of the black background. Also good detail (aside from the contrasted areas). Still wonderful work. 7

Really great work. I admit, at first I was a little put off at this idea, but all in all it is really wonderful work. The execution is great. Did you happen to achieve this within a few shots or did you go thru many apples? - noticing that the inside of the apple is not brown :-) I also like the ever so light shadow/reflection. Excellent white background. Excellent work 10

Being honest- NOT to offend. This doesn't do anything for me. Perhaps with a lot of cropping and different lighting. For me, this is too 'snap-shot' like. I'm just saying what I see. I'm seeing a bag of frozen veggies on the counter and someone just came over and took a picture of it-so for me, this isn't showing much 'photography'. I'm sorry to write this, but it's my observation.
