Day 13by hajekaComment: I'm really impressed at all the detail in the smoke. That's something else I'll have to try some time. |

Hell no!by MadMan2kComment: Pity about the DQ. I like this a lot. Though it looks like it was highly underrated by the voters in any case. |

Day 12 Pru Babyby TCGuruComment: Nice job. I'm sure her mother is really pleased with this one.
It will be really interesting to see them all together at the end of the year and observe how quickly they change at that age. |

Day 12 - Mazda Camby runericComment: Very impressive for a shot taken from a moving vehicle. I haven't dared try anything like this since I got my dSLR. And with a P&S, I'd only shoot blind (camera in hand and eyes firmly on the road) and hope for the best, so I've never got anything even half as good. |

Day 12 of 50 - J. Percy Priest Damby krafty1Comment: That sure was brave. I've missed so many shots because I'm scared to stop. When I was using a P&S, I used to get some of the stuff I wanted by keeping a camera on me while I was driving and taking shots through the window when stopped at a red light. With my dSLR, I'm missing out on those too. Sometimes I think I should carry my little Pentax around for use in the car, but I'm too lazy to carry two cameras and besides that thing really produces low quality images.
Great shot. But be more careful next time. |

Day 12 - "Off to see the Wizard"by BudComment: As far as I recall, "The Wizard of Oz" was the first movie I ever saw. South Africa didn't have TV yet then (we only got it some time in the mid-seventies) and I'm sure it would have been even more frightening on the big screen. I obviously must have found it really scary, because the next film I was taken to was "Hello Dolly" and I made my parents leave half way through because I was expecting something scary to happen.
Since TV, I think kids are much less sensitive. Some years later I remember my neighbour's kids, at the age of about 2, watching a really violent wildlife documentary, and it didn't seem to bother them at all. |
