Need Gas? Eat Beans!by GringoComment: To me, this deserves to ribbon. It is perfectly executed and is just right in black and white. The tones, lines, textures and composition are all in perfect harmony and the subtle humor makes this the most special of all the entries in my view. 10 |

Dollfaceby drz01Comment: lighting is too "front and forward" which has created the strong shadow on the wall. You could try buying a plain plack foam board (they are really cheap) and photographing the doll against that. This eliminates shadows and the doll's features would likely have shown up better. |

Linn Runby pookey83Comment: the foamy water is well captured but I would have tried to keep the small tree out of the frame as it's a bit distracting. WOndering if this is Linn Canyon in Vancouver. Beautiful anyway.... |

...by UniversalTheoryComment: If you had gotten down even lower for the shot i think it would have had a stronger composition with the light playing on the front edge of each board |

The Lion Kingby yashmanComment: a very nice study and composition with good tones. Shame the sky wasn't a little more interesting. |

From Here to Downtownby TTraxxComment: Sears Tower in the background? Sadly you are asking for trouble with those strong verticals not being vertical. I like the misty cityscape however |
