Rain Coming by e301Comment: Lived in Harrogate for 5 years before coming to the States, and this shot captures the landscape beautifully and takes me back there. Congratulations, Ed. Nice to be rubbing shoulders with such talent and I look forward to doing it again! |

... As a Featherby md8speedComment: I still think this is an absolutely stunning shot and should have scored way higher. I am sorry that your interpretation of "light" was seen negatively by so many (that anyone would actually believe that light, as in weight, is spelled "lite" is beyond me!)....I believe it is completely valid and this shot is spectacularly artful. Has also encouraged me to get the 50mm 1.8 that I have been contemplating for a long time! |

Star light, star brightby GordonComment: Back for comments - this is a work of pure art. The smoothness of the tones and the high key effect is extremely effective. Should do well...good luck! |

Through the Shadowsby Zap228Comment: The black and white works well with this as it is a study in shadow as much as light. Beautiful |

Wild West Wineryby sbeaumontComment: Thanks for the great comments....my highest scoring photo to date. The horizon is a tad skewed....and is straightened for DPCPrints! |

A Perennial Favorite Town Nameby joe_minerComment: Great name for a town! The crop is a bit tight at top and side - obviously intentionally, but it creates a sense of tension. Perhaps "tight crop" = Tightwad! |
