Defining Beautyby arnitComment: Arnit, your model is truly gorgeous and it is a lovely photograph. However for this particular challenge I think that we need to see the jewelry a little bit more clearly. I also find the left eye a tiny bit disconcerting as it is split by the nose. Your technique is unquestionably excellent, it is just the interpretation that I question a little this time. |

Irrisistable.by tasha4pawsComment: cutting themodel's head off is not usually a good plan....and I'm afraid the shadow reduces the impact a lot. Focus is good |

The Groom's Kitby WobbleComment: Highlight on the ring is a bit distracting. I like how you have left space for text in the right hand corner creating a balanced composition |

Jewelry with a purposeby DogAngelComment: I disagree with some who say that a watch is not jewellery, however I think this misses the mark a bit for advertising as it doesn't show the watch in sufficient detail to make a lifestyle statement |

Give Her Beaded Elegance in Turquoiseby joyinlightComment: the lighting is very flat and forward which leaves the texture of the earring (which could have been very good) rather flat as well. Showing the earring lit by the sun from behind (to create a halo), with some fill flash or reflective fill (a piece of white poster board works surprizingly well) coould have produced a memorable shot. |

Fijian Black Pearlsby dkubinComment: sorry but i find the bright hotspots on each pearl too distractng. Try using more diffused light and some fill in reflection. The composition it very nice.....exposure and contrast a little less satisfying, especially for print |
