I think you have captured the essence of the challenge. Every detail in this image says "Almost Famous". The t-shirt, the reflection, the type of glasses, the coloring, the grain... its just really really nice! Good Job 9

nice take on the challenge. i love the duotone, reminds me of Dark City or some movie.. In a challenge filled with "new wannabe" photos, this tops them all. My only 10.

I just do not consider this a real photograph. It may very well be an actual photograph, but its a photo of text. Its bland, its not aesthetically pleasing, it lacks creativity, its just not for me.

This is really a great shot.. but someone told me years ago here on DPC that "nothing good ever comes from an orange border". Its just not aesthetically pleasing.. but the image itself is very nice!

the props and lighting are really good. If Stanley were posed a bit better.. lying down, looking at the camera, etc, the shot would be much better. Its a really nice set up.

New Pastels

one of my favorites from this challenge. i love the colors, the way you didn't have a rainbow of colors but a variety of the same hues. also love the round pastel in the middle, the focus is good, and the shot meets the challenge. My only critique would be the background. I would either like to see this on a crisp white backdrop, commercial shot/stock, or something unique.. the gray is drab and takes away some of the beauty of the earth tones. overall a pleasing shot, have fun with your new pastels!

love the fisheye. the dof is nice, it is technically well shot and the subject (due to the lens used) is comical and overall it makes for a great shot.
