Great composition... The eyes are justifiably the best detail to draw attention to, but the partially cropped nose ring is distracting; in this shot is doesn't seem to contribute to who you are, it just draws my eyes away from your eyes, which seem to be the real subject.

Nice lighting, and great use of shadows to create a mood. I'd almost like to see your head tilted a bit to the side, or perhaps down rather then straight on... Just a thought.

Hard to be anonymous in a self portrait. As usual, very creative technically excellent work. How long until you put out your first book? Seriously though, this is one of the first portraits I critiqued that uses a lot of negative space, but does so in harmony with the subject. Your exporession is perfect for the vast frame, and subtle shading in the backdrop. I expect to see this near the top.
