weedon1.jpgby kellianComment: Oohh... I LIKE IT! As for the foreground .. it's okay. What it really needs is a "focal point". Something to fix your eyes on. A person in a red jacket fishing from the shore. Or a sale boat on the horizon. Something that would complete the picture.
Still, it's a beautiful landscape. I love it as is.

Hairlarious by scalvertComment: Wow, look at all that gorgeous hair!!! I LOVE long hair! I can't believe they are cutting it off. My daughter did that with her long hair. I cried. (well, internally anyway) Love the picture, congrats on the ribbon! |

Pink Flowerby lovethelightComment: HOLY MACRO! :-)
Wow, the sharpness in this image is absolutely astounding. Love the lighting you used too, it helps give definition to the various flower parts. Well done!

I use Fotofusion by Lumapix to handle collages, wedding invitations, birth announcements, etc.
You can do, in Photoshop, everything that Fotofusion can do. The difference is that Fotofusion does it all in about 1/10th the time. That's YOUR time that it is saving. The time that you would spend "fiddling" with images in Photoshop. So with Fotofusion I can be far more creative because I have time to be creative. |

Hmmm... it's not so obvious on this one as it is on others that I've some from this same location. But I often supplement the natural light with an off camera flash (Canon 420EX on a stand shooting thru an umbrella) in front of the person's body (i.e. left side of the image). The catchlight is probably my 580EX (used both as the master and as fill light here).
