This is a better macro shot I guess. I like it....

Lighting was a cloudy day direct light coming in a window directly at the flower, it was tough because it kept wanting to make the white edges be blown out but after messing with the exposure a bit in photoshop it worked out.

Wow, the sharpness in this image is absolutely astounding. Love the lighting you used too, it helps give definition to the various flower parts. Well done!

The particular flowers are so flamboyant. You did a great job interpreting this one getting just the right amount of sharpness to blur to make it exciting.
