 Hoping for over a 6.0. This is my family. My husband Jim,my oldest daughter Nicki (9) and my youngest daughter
Allie (7).

I realize this is completely over done. Yes, way to much neat image for my taste, but ran short on time.

I absolutely love this shot. The cowboy feel, as you know with my work sets this above the rest. I love the feel and the contentment in this shot. The expression on his face shows that he really does have it all. I do agree with the neat image being a bit much, but other than that, you should feel extremely happy with a beautiful family and a great shot. Congrats on top 5.

Nice eyes, but the man's face looks posterized. Perhaps I'm wrong, but the faces look over-processed.

THis is lovely, however the biggest problem here is the skin of the models looks far too smooth and plasticy. Ideally laying off the neatimage (or noise reduction software) would of been benefical, this shot wouldnt of been awful with a little bit of noise.. Its a lovely BW conversion and a really nice posed shot. I am going with a 7 here, less noise reduction would of upped this at least a point, maybe 2.. well done!!!

pp a little too heavy-handed for my taste. No separation on black hats. Great expressions though, and I like the square composition.

Most of the pic's so far have been action or candid, this is one of the few portrait shots. Well done, works in B&W but looks like a bit to much neat image.

Lighting and setup are fine, the picture has got a very professional look. This will probably be a very dear picture to the mother and wife of this family (and to dad as well), but it does not touch me. Therefore, the 7 points I am giving is based solely on technical quality,

I don't know enough about post processing to know what to call it, but the girsls faces are just a little bit too clear...kinda otherwordly. Other than that, a wonderful shot. (7)

At least this is a legitimate portrait. I think what hurts it is the overall flat feel of it. The lighting or perhaps over usage of Neat Image has given them an almost plastic feel. I love the hats and the carefree positioning but it has a certain flatness to the skin. Not trying to be harsh, just constructive. That's why I didn't enter. ;~D

This is a very nice photo. IMHO it would be a 10 if the sharpening were not as aggressive.
