I was expecting to see brighter whites (or colors) to contrast with some dark blacks. In this image I see some good dark colors... but nothing that really approaches white.

While this is extremely impressive in what you've accomplished, it really isn't all that "pretty" to me. And I must confess... going thru the images in this challenge, I think I've been voting on beauty more than technique. Just thought I'd explain why I voted a low score. (still gave it a 4 because I felt it at least met the challenge even though I don't care for it)

Later thought: I wonder if this image actually looks better "full size" than it does down in these cramped dimensions?
