Tufted Titmouse with Fill Flashby MaryOComment: Glad you are out there trying flash Mary. It is tough on harsh sunny days but flash still helps reduce the contrast between the light and dark areas. If I was getting very dark and very light areas causing too much contrast on the bird I'd likley shoot this the same way you did with flash but also with an expsoure comp of -.3 or -.5. Somethimes you just have to play around. |

Great shot. I think it would have scored a bit higher had you been able to get rid of the color noise in the dark areas. Pretty good for a handheld P&S! |
