Wow, this is a great shot! A classic concept, but fresh enough with the little twists to really 'grab you'. The composition is just dead solid strong! Great use of leading lines and repetition. Wonderful detail, great tones. And I absolutely loVE the dof you've used. Really makes the shot. This is great photography :-)

Train Yard East of the City

Hmmm. There are elements here that I like. Nice tones. The curved tracks. Placement of the train in the composition. The misty haze of the city in the background. But it just kind of seems to me overall, a bit too much to take all in. A tad busy, and I find my eye quickly wanders off the train, and just continues to wander and I find myself losing grasp of the shot as a whole. Definitely not a bad shot, but I just feel held back from really getting into it.

Good shot here. Very sound composition. Nice tonality in the image. It is very easy to come across as 'gimmicky' when doing selective desat. But I think here, it serves a good purpose, and helps drive the photo's idea, and it 'works'. Nice job.

An interesting shot. The composition works. The concept is clear. I like the lens flares at left, by the man, they help deliver the idea of the image, I feel. However, the flares to the lower right I think are detrimental to the shot.
