The big train yard near downtown Houston Texas. This was shot late in the evening, I also have some from the morning but the sky was real cloudy.

I don't expect this to do well here at DPC, but I think the image reflects the grittiness of an old train yard.

Nice. I like the monochromatic nature of this with the city shrouded in mist/smog. Lines of the tracks have just the right light on them, too.

Hmmm. There are elements here that I like. Nice tones. The curved tracks. Placement of the train in the composition. The misty haze of the city in the background. But it just kind of seems to me overall, a bit too much to take all in. A tad busy, and I find my eye quickly wanders off the train, and just continues to wander and I find myself losing grasp of the shot as a whole. Definitely not a bad shot, but I just feel held back from really getting into it.

I like the strong composition with the horizontal and vertical elements. I like the colors as well.

I like the perspective and the metro mood this conveys
