Midnight Mist by RulerZigzagComment: Interesting subject. Nice traditional perspective. Good tone. I think your border works well in this case, gives it a nice 'poster' feel. Good job. |

Towards Cybercityby gwsallenComment: An interesting subject and a nice perspective. I don't think the green tone helps the shot though. |

Inlet at Mid Tideby JoziComment: The bridge looks like it has a nice curve to it. This might be a much stronger shot, especially considering the challenge, to show more of it and less scenery. |

And so, we meet....by hitendraComment: Very creative intrepretation of the challenge. I like it. Your border works in this case, but in a way it almost seems to make the shot a little subdued, wondering if maybe it would be even bolder without a border? Nice job. |

On duty for 156 yearsby AlbireoComment: Very interesting subject, composed nicely. I really like how you've framed the tower with the lions. Works really well. Technically looks very good also. A little nitpicky, but wondering if it might be a tad bit stronger shot if you could of caught it with no cars on the bridge? Nice job. |

Bridge over falling watersby wetlandComment: I really like this shot. A nice pleasant composition with a rustic feel. It is composed well, even with the waterfall (a nice secondary subject) and foreground, trees and sky and such, the bridge still is made a very strong focal point. I find my eye wandering along the texture and lines of the bridge, and then travels back along the waterfall again in a pleasing loop. I don't think the sepia 'tone' takes anything away, but I am wondering if perhaps all the texture in the shot would be even stronger in straight b/w? Anyways, a very nice shot IMO. |

Bridge to the Skyby biodorkComment: Hmmm, I think I've seen these particular rocks before... :-)
Very nice job. I really like the lighting/tone of this shot. Like to know if that is how it really looked at that time or did you PS it a lot. Either way, looks really good to me. |

Cape Cod Canal at Duskby WylyWireComment: Nice composition. The reflections are very nice. I think that the bright light on the left edge under the bridge should either be cropped out or show all of it, it seems a bit distracting as is. The shrub in the lower center also, kind of weakens the image IMO. Perhaps taken a few feet to the left or right? |
