The letterby nico_blueComment: I think this is a neat concept. It gives the shot kind of a dreamlike quality, or a sense that the person is deep in thought, wrapped up in a very emotional state, something like that. But here, IMO, it seems like just a little too much. I think maybe being able to see a little more person, especially the face, would make it easier to connect emotionally with the photo. Seems definitely worth exploring further though to me. :-) |

Did that guy just take my picture?by kelstertxComment: Ooh my gawd! This opened up and just tickled me pink. Gave me quite a smile and chuckle. I think it actually fits the challenge too. I like the composition. Good dof and exposure too. I just love the squirrel, his expression and pose, and your title. hehehe, he should go into acting. I just love it. Oh, did you get a signed model release? :-) |

Miss Noseyby roadrunnerComment: Cute pic. Reminds me of the old "Kilroy was here". Good choice and job on the b/w. |

Houseby umbroComment: You've got a nice idea here. This scene, the little house fits the challenge nicely IMO, and seems kind of pleasantly photogenic. I'm thinking there is a little too much foreground though. Maybe cropping a bit off the bottom might make for a much stronger presentation. Perhaps cutting it off just below the largest tree at left. I think this would make it not only even better for the challenge, but perhaps even better as just a photo in general. |

Oppositesby pumaComment: Nice shot here. Good classic composition. Like the black/white thing going on. The lighting and focus seem great. Shooting glass or any reflective subject like that can be tricky. You've nicely avoided any glare spots or unwanted reflections. The subject has nice interest/appeal IMO. |

Gone Fishinby Travis99Comment: Wow! (with a capitol W) What a terrifically beautiful shot. You've taken what could be a very busy scene, and almost magically with focus, lighting and the composition made it work magnificantly for this challenge IMO. The composition is wonderful. My attention is definitely drawn powerfully to the fisherman, there amidst a totally gorgeous scene. I find myself forcing my attention off the main subject to let my eye wander and take in the rich tones, textures and details of the surroundings, and then I'm drawn right back to the person. The photo tells a pleasingly wonderful story, I'm left feeling a yearning to be out on the water casting a line of my own. What an awesome job, I love it. Very well done. |

One-Ballby ClickNSeeComment: Nice job here. Great composition. Your subject, the ball, stands out and forces attention very nicely. I really like the lighting you've used, sets a good mood for the shot, a sense of drama kind of. Fits the challenge very well IMO. Well done. |

Isolated Beautyby mocabelaComment: A good shot here. Lighting and focus are great. I like the b/w conversion, very well done. There is very nice detail and texture to the flower. I think the size of it is good, definitely fits the challenge IMO. Compositionally, I'm not crazy about how the flower is framed so tight into the corner, I'm wondering if it were out just a bit, it might be a much stronger presentation? |
