A good idea. Woodies are cool :-) The centered composition doesn't seem that stimulating in this case. Image looks a little flat or washed out, perhaps some levels adj. could add a little life?

Very creative and refreshing approach on the challenge. Great lighting. Nice job.
The lighting and framing/cropping you've chosen draws attention to the hat, which makes it work nicely for this challenge, IMO.

Well, it certainly looks intentional, but being so blown out just isn't doing it for me in this instance. It's a real cool idea, maybe toned down, it would be more appealing to me.
