A good idea, fits the challenge well. The flowers have some vivid color, but overall the exposure or lighting feels kind of off, maybe you used on board flash?
I can't tell if the background is wood, or what, but it seems a little distracting. Good focus and clarity, but overall, I find my eye struggling to find a strong point of interest in the shot. I realize the arrangement overall is the subject, but in this case, it feels lacking, and I as the viewer, am wandering, searching over the image. Perhaps there is just a little too much, too busy. Some of the flowers look kind of droopy and ill.

Nice concept. I really like how the blues tie everything together, the bike, his shirt, the water, sky. A nice feel to the color scheme of the whole photo. I think the comp might be a little stronger if the subject were framed closer to the left edge of the image, coming into the photo instead of going out, taking the viewers eye out of the shot.

Very dark and brooding. Cool. The tone suits the image. Might try in editing to bring just a touch of brightness back. Just to get a bit of detail from the darkness in the clouds, and broaden the tonal range in general. Not very much though, definitely don't want to lose the mood. Nice shot.

This is an interesting shot. Cool concept. The water drops are very crisp and clear. Might be a slightly stronger presentation if the palm were not cut off at the bottom. I like it though. Good job. :-)

Hehe, I thought from the thumb it looked like the mast of a ship too :-) , and I was even in the navy for 9 years, sheesh!
This is a really cool pov, rikki. I like the reflection also, and there is some real good detail in the mechanical linkage.
