This was seriously under appreciated IMO. I love this shot -- so clean, simple and beautiful. And, I think you handled it so well -- many would have overcooked it (this includes me).

I love the composition -- I think you cropped it perfectly.

Sadly, I did not get through all of the free study entries this month, and I missed this stunning shot. There may e a couple of gaps in your technical knowledge of photography, but your eye definitely knows photography. Superb portrait.

Both are wonderful shots. I like your entry better, but this might have conveyed the people/pet connection better for some. The light on Gap's face and his focus on the stick are great.
