Fishing Match winnerby jblaylockraynerComment: Looks like a Chinook Salmon actually.
Jeff, you are the master of fill lighting shooting into the sun. The overall effects you get are superb! |

Louvreby Rino63Comment: This is a very fine composition and so well-suited for the tone you chose.
My only dig on this is the halo effect around the people and the upper right roof lines. Was this from dodge/burning done? If so, it's best to do it in a new layer via copy, do the burning as if the people weren't even there, then go to the eraser tool and erase back areas you didn't want burned if they got too dark, then flatten layers.
Still a great photograph regardless. |

Mountain Grandeurby SandyPComment: The partial desturation here is causing too much of an imbalnce in this photograph for me. I can only imagine the mountains would have been better subdued in color perhaps, but not desaturated, or an overall black & white conversion. |

Elizabethby -Bec-Comment: Very nicely posed and kudos to the natural look here with the wild hair, making it look more like a candid. Nice job on the lighting too.
ok, I confess, I have a soft spot for freckles... :) |

Shipwreckedby h2Comment: I've tried, but just can't quite adapt to the color of the sky like this and can't help wonder what this would look like post-processed differently.
Still a cool shot regardless! |

GREEEENby tamatamaComment: I need to toss a coin on this.
Heads - I like it as is, with the frog looking away.
Tails - I'd like it better if the frog were looking this way.
Drat - the coin fell in the drain grating, but I think it landed on heads. |

Age of Enlightenmentby JutildaComment: Very pretty portrait, with just enough softness to change the feel of it.
I bet she is thrilled with this photograph! |

Enterby JPRComment: Wow!
This is a scene like something I would expect in a movie, but rarely in a photograph.
I imagine a lot of the mood here was a result of the choices you made in post-processing this, and applaud your choices. |
