Initial Impressions: A wonderful vintage style reproduction of one of the world's most museums. A terrific stylized picture that sets itself apart from other tourist snapshots.

Composition: Superb. Great use of rule of thirds on the bottom and the right. This helps with the respective lines throughout the image as there are very few dead spaces. I like how the X forms near the corners of the frame and the nice procession of the couple and child, one in front of the others. Not sure if this was a crop, if not truly wonderful eye for catching the scene in frame.

Technicals: Sharpness is great. Wonderful depth throughout the image, f8 was a good choice here. I like the choice in coloring style you brought in post. The only issue I really see, is the angel halo affect going on around the two closest people and some on the far left. It gives it a kind of wonky feeling. It is not something you notice at first glance, but is pretty evident the more you look at it. However, that is pretty easy to fix in post.

Overall: A wonderful old style photograph that captures the splendors of Paris charm of centuries ago. The style might be up to everyone's standards, mimicking "old" photography styles sometimes get's you low votes from the "artistic" police. This is one terrific photo.

This is a very fine composition and so well-suited for the tone you chose.
My only dig on this is the halo effect around the people and the upper right roof lines. Was this from dodge/burning done? If so, it's best to do it in a new layer via copy, do the burning as if the people weren't even there, then go to the eraser tool and erase back areas you didn't want burned if they got too dark, then flatten layers.
Still a great photograph regardless.

Looks like an old photo - almost in the style of Cartier-Bresson. I like it. Very nice tonal range and detail.

Post processing makes this feel very nostalgic, like an old postcard. Really like it!

Nice tones. The halos around the people are very distracting though. Probably needed to ease up on the dodging.

Like your processing here very much. It gives the look and feel of picture shot in the first half of the century. It doesn't make the Pei edifice look anachronistic. Fits right in. Nit: Halos around the front two people. I missed it the first look...a bit distracting. Good Luck!

i enjoy looking at travel photos - of buildings and places which i dont get to see often, or at all. and this is one of them. however, i'd like to honestly point out that there are 3 things on this image that distracts me:
1. the halo around the 2 person in front. they dont appear to be main subjects of this composition (even if they are, they lack enough details). so the halo is more distraction than anything.
2. horizon appears tilted - i haven't gone and measured if it really is, but it appeared to be. it may have been caused by the perspective of the building itself, but i'd leave you with that.
in a nutshell, i liked this photo, or i wouldn't have bothered writing such a wrong comment. cheers!
3. the border of this image - it's minor issue, but i just thought i'd point it but and be honest about what i think (sorry)

Cool color tones and I like the composition. The people in the foreground have an unusual glow about them :) but other than that this is a very nice shot. I think the grain works very well on this image. Back to bump you up to 8.

This border is distracting. A small, even, white one would accent the photo nicely without over dominating it, and would have allowed you a lot more space to display a detailed image.

A little too much dodging I think on the people. Nice subject though.

halos aroud the people are distracting. looks like there is a tilt to the left. Good sepia toning. I would lose the drop shadow border.

I like the very classic finish on this photo. Very nice, but the dodge/burn around some of the people looks a bit odd though.

Great capture of this great architecture. The focus is great over the whole shot. I think the two people in the foreground contribute nicely to the shot.

you've got some haloing issues around your pedestrians, like it otherwise

I don't think the white border helps the sepia-toned shot. Additionally, the glow around the two people in the foreground and buildings (esp. top left) suggests poor editing.

Overprocessed on the people in the foreground you can see a halo around them. usually comes from oversharpening.
