I think the mistake in this is that the everything is quite nice, but I dislike the lamp. I would re-do this but buy a cheap brass tone genie lamp off of ebay and photograph it and use that instead. It will add a greater semblance of reality.

Okay Graphicfunk, I'm really surprised at you? You are not the type to usually leave such a distracting element as is seen in the bottom left corner.

I thought this was a really nice shot but had to take a point or so off because of that corner. Gave you a (6) bro but would have been an easy (7+).

It just seemed like something that COULD be avoided and should have. Alas....it's life. Nice job still...

Cropping is too tight to the chin, kinda disturbs the whole photo for me. Otherwise the eyes are nice but the make-up job or flesh tones don't do justice. Her cheek on the left looks almost bruised.

The eyes are superbly captured. And if you zoomed out a tiny bit I think it would be much improved.
