I really like this one...for a posed model shot. Would work very well for advertising.

Something about this pose feels too unnatural....but I really like where it was heading. This was a very classy shoot. With a kind of retro 30's feel.

Intriguing shot. Very porcelain doll'ish. I love the background. My only complaint is the contrast on the black coat being a bit low.

Okay, you hit on something with this one.....most definitely....

Great capture of the hair. The eyes are still looking too much at you but not so bad as to be distracting.

The pose is superb for her. You've softened her shoulders at this angle. Allowed her arms to look natural. Taken advantage of her slender form, placed the skirt in a way so as to fall loosely and naturally and maintain a smooth uniform curve; while having the waistline slip downward slightly creating a very sensual but delicate feel.

This shot has almost a 'feline' quality in it's beauty with the sensual arching and delicate curvature. Very very nice job.

There are a few elements that do hurt the photo. But these are minor. The background is somewhat distracting. A building can be seen and the trees just aren't blurred quite a enough. It might worth your while to use photoshop to blurr the background just a little bit more. The wood rail in the forground is blown out and becomes a bit distracting. Maybe some dodge/burn, etc. can help lesson it's effect.

I still think the model needs to smile, and that a nice smile could make this shot spectacular. Already it's a superb shot of a beautiful model. And quite capable of making the blood boil a bit, and although it exhudes a strong sensual feel, it maintains a nubile innoncence which is very nice.

Great job!

This is a shot for her portfolio....

Now, I suggest you do the following - take this pose and re-shoot it in several different settings. This is really a great pose for her body's shape and form. Re-shoot in different settings. Say a on a rock at a beach. In an alley. And in different colors....

Much better, I like how the hair blocks her fact a touch but only non essentials. I like the positioning much better than the last one. Her neck still suffers from an unnatural angle in this shot but her face looks much more relaxed and natural.

White is a very hard color to expose well. Consider alternate colors if you re-shoot. The light blue was nice on her...

Not really digging this one, I think it's cropped to close and almost makes me feel like she's got her hand to her head in an expression of "oh dear" or "stressed out". She definitely needs to relax a touch more...

I like this shot, even if it's corny... (okay just some humor to make you laugh and relax so you don't take the critiques too hard).

I think there are some exposure issues with areas a touch over exposed. I think some dodging/burning might draw out some highlights. Or perhaps push it even further and make it more of a high-key shot.

This is a pretty good entry. But I am still left asking...why is the model so expressionless? Perhaps part of that is she is looking right at you, this has the effect that her irises are pressed against the edge of her eyelids. Get her to look to the right of you and it will center her iris more and help to reduce the white space of her eyes. Perhaps adding more depth to her expression.

Much improved over the first one....

The pose is more fitting for her shape, but there is still room for improvement.

- the bottom left is distracting.
- the model is not relaxed, get her to relax. As you said, she's new to this and that's one of the toughest aspects of inexperienced models. Get her to relax, smile, be herself and yet be maleable and posable.
- crop shows one sandle and cuts off the other foot and rest of dress, this becomes distracting
- model is really too centered. Consider shifting, perhaps a tighter crop might work too improve as well.
- also, take note that you've let the skirt sag in between her legs instead of maintaining smooth curves. It now has a deflated feel.

Will be giving you "honest" critiques. As such they are meant to be constructive but may be harsh.

This one, will be kinda harsh...

I'd consider discard this one...here's why

- face / head position, to strained, poor expression on face
- the breasts are way over-exposed
- the pose is kinda odd, and almost makes her look pop-belly, and yes she's a think model.
- composition forces rotation and makes for a weird angle feeling

What is good:
- the color is nice, I think the tones and saturation could be heigtened for a touch of surreal even

Sorry, this one missed the boat a lot for me. That said....this is meant to be constructive. So although I am being critical, I don't mean any slight by it.
