Sorry, this is a very well composed shot....why you would ever convert it to B&W eludes me. Black and white are great for portraits, man made things, etc. But for nature the colors and hues which exist should be represented. This photo is but a sketch, it fails to convery the fullness....the blue of the ocean, sky, etc.

A little blurry toward the bottom, but what a wonderful expression you've captured. The detail and depth and the green of the eyes is fantastic. This pulls and tugs on the cat lover in me. The whiskers are magnificent. In truth there are a few imperfections that should make me score this slightly lower (the upper right area is a touch distracting and the chest area is soft and it could use something to add some action and pose to the subject....but man the eyes are gorgeous. So I am going to give you a 10. Although in truth it's more a 9+
