| Excellent focus! The cat’s head is perfect. It’s unfortunate that he blends so well into the background. If the background had been a different colour, I think the cat would have looked real enough to pet. |

| Great expression and tones in this picture..the whiskers are great..love the eyes too..the ?leopard skin throw in background compliments the cat nicely; but I feel it should have been the only thing in the background, the rug and what looks like the leg of a chair are a little distracting...7 |

| Wonderful cat portrait. I usually go over aliased lines such as some of the whiskers here with the blur tool in the direction of the line at high magnification to remove the jaggies though. |

| Beautiful expression, crystalline clarity of focus, nice framing. I'm afraid the sagging background blanket creates enough of a disstracton IMO to knock the photo from extraordinary to really really good. |

| Beautiful cat. I think the background is wrong. Very clear photo and if the background was all one color, (very light) and not as busy, I believe it would have brought out the beautiful colors of this cat. |

A little blurry toward the bottom, but what a wonderful expression you've captured. The detail and depth and the green of the eyes is fantastic. This pulls and tugs on the cat lover in me. The whiskers are magnificent. In truth there are a few imperfections that should make me score this slightly lower (the upper right area is a touch distracting and the chest area is soft and it could use something to add some action and pose to the subject....but man the eyes are gorgeous. So I am going to give you a 10. Although in truth it's more a 9+

| This is a beautiful cat and a beautiful portrait of him/her. The only thing keeping this from rating a 10 is the dropped backdrop in the top right. If that had been in place it would have been perfect! |
