When I first saw this, I thought they were statues, but I guess not. Interesting concept, but the mood of the syringes doesn't match that of the rest of the picture in my mind. They seem too clean, fresh, new.

Beautiful photo. Being processed in B/W enhances the mood a lot. The only thing I might mention would be that the building visually appears to be a tiny bit off vertical. If you used wide angle, and thus would have prespective problems you might have tried to make the near corner of the main, tall building the vertical line, as that's the one that your eye goes to right away.
