Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment: Your shot has possibilities, but you didn't exploit them. I would have set the lighter cement colors as white and kept the shadows black. Then it would have had more power. Also, a picture like this should be brutally sharp. |

quartersby g04tComment: You have a good idea, but the background texture and the top coin is way too much over exposed. |

Leaf it aloneby freetimeComment: Your leaf doesn't appear sharp. Possibly you got too close for your camera to focus, or your shutter speed was a little slow. Macro requires a little more steadiness (or a tripod) because a small amount of camera movement is a larger precentage of the picture field. |

Smooth as Grassby AaronComment: Your picture is an excellent example of the role depth of field plays in a picture, and I'm not trying to be sarcastic:) You can see a narrow area in the grass that's sharp and the rest is more or less blury. If your camera allows you to adjust DOF, you might try some experiments and see the difference. I like your idea very much, and if the grass and the cat were sharp it would have been one of my favorites. |

Cabbageby brumosComment: Interesting photo. Is this the actual color or did you shift the hues some? |
