Voted before, but returning for comments and a slight bump. I really like the lighting, it's very dramatic and works here (although it appears a little uneven from burning). I like that you used someone who is challenged as a hero model (at least moreso than some of the toys and dogs in other submissions). One nit is that the skin, particularly on the face, looks kind of overprocessed (NI maybe). Still, 9 from me.

I think the concept is good, but the compostion is a little boring. I think I might have tried a closer shot, maybe from an angle, to add some depth. It looks like you tried to keep the flag in the shot, but in this case, to do so creates a lot of negative blank space. One other thing, you probably should have used a tripod for this night shot as it's a little blurred. Good luck

The object says December and sharpness is good. I find the background with the line running thru the object and creating a weird distortion and the harsh shadows to be severe distractions from the image. 5

Nice peaceful looking shot, great cloud pattern. I think I might have liked it better if the lighthouse was more a part of the picture, but without working with it, I can't say for sure. In any event, I give this an 8
