windy flameby greslizzzComment: This does say wind, and therefor meets the challenge. The interest level really isn't there for me though. There really isn't anything in the image to make me want to stay and look around. 5 |

Marilyn Monroe of the 21st Centuryby KarGirlComment: The pose looks uncomfortable and the facial expression is pretty uninspired. I think it would have been better with a different choice of location. The interior wall and the resulting shadows hurt the shot for me. |

The Power Of Windby I Enjoy HamComment: The centered compositon and the focus issues hurt this for me. Plus, the way the smoke is rising straight up, the wind doesn't appear to be much of a factor either. |

Windy Day Fun by FirstyComment: Points for the effort setting this up. It does have a very "staged" look to it. 6 |

family flying kiteby saffronismComment: I know your title says it, but I can't see it. Without the title, I wouldn't be able to associate wind with the photo because the people are too small for me to see what they are doing. I really like the photo from a human interest aspect though, the compositon and colors are terrific. 6 |

After a windy morning...by gipomontesantoComment: This is a good photo of the "results" of the wind, I don't really "see" the wind. For all I know, the tree could have been cut at the bottom. Just an observation that I'm not marking you down for. |

Harnessing The Windby TrueGeekComment: This is really close to being a very good image. The problems are mostly not your fault, the wires cutting across horizontally. I think I would have liked the shot better if the angle caused the leading structure to be on the extreme left and the others to trail off into the distance from there creating a diagonal line from corner to corner. Those smaller ones in the back don't do anydthing but add clutter. My only other nitpik is that while these work with the wind, wind isn't evident in this photo. Maybe if the shutter were slower show some blurring of the blades?
Anyway, this is a good effort. 7 |

Good windby StagoleeComment: s the challenge. The colors seem a little flat on my monitor, I'm wondering if the saturation/contrast could have been bumped just a bit to make the image "pop" |

man madeby nidanComment: The lighting doesn't work well for me. It's too dark. Also, while a fan implies wind (when it's on), this doesn't say wind to me because there is nothing fighting the air currents. |
