If I could see the kite then this would count for the presence of wind. But as I cant see the kite (I can see a string and people looking towards where the string leads)...

Kite?Where?

Nice composition, probably with the wires more sharp (only after 1 minutes I saw the left wire) the subject "wind" could be more evident!
The whole photo need more contrast in my opinion.
Good work!

I think the empty space on the left is distracting, maybe a closer shot of the family? Especially since the kite itself is not included.

A bit dark, noisy and i'd like to see the kite. The composition is off center..but not more than that. The only interesting part is how they are standing on the water. hallelujah, it's another miracle!

Very interesting shot. I like the wide open space and the contrast between the people and the land. Nice job.

A lovely moment captured well, the best kind of photograph.

This photo has potential, but is either too close or too wide. I would prefer to see either a wider shot with the kite in it, or -- even better -- a closer shot of the family to see their facial features and expressions. This one gets a 6 1/2 -- so I'm rounding up to 7.

Nice shot, a pity it's that dark. I quite like the grain, actually, so more brightness would not have hurt, in my opinion. 7.

I know your title says it, but I can't see it. Without the title, I wouldn't be able to associate wind with the photo because the people are too small for me to see what they are doing. I really like the photo from a human interest aspect though, the compositon and colors are terrific. 6

I would have prefered to see the kyte rather than the family. Plus, picture is dark and out of focus.

I would have like to seen the kite in this photo.

hmm..perhaps different perpective would have been better.

if we could see the kite....

Are they standing on water?
12/15/2004 03:42:56 AM
Too much whatever and too little family

Should have inlcuded the kite by shooting from far field... also, the horizon is a little tilted.
