Refractedby danthesquidkidComment: Great attempt! But too bad everything is out of focus. The background is okay to be blurry of course but the glass could have been sharper. |

Experienceby TallblokeComment: It's a different feel than the original but I like it. In this particular picture I would have sharpened areas of the face by using layer masks with soft transitions so that for instance the cheeks would have been more weathered but the area between nose and lip would have remained somewhat softer.
Great job all in all - 7 |

Serendipityby ZoomdakComment: I never figuer out what the original entry had to do with serendipity but that's not relevant in this challenge. You did an excellent job and your shot gets an 8 from me. |

Out of the Thicket once moreby gazdiComment: I like this alot. I would never think of leaving this much tree in a bitrd picture but this strikes me more as a tree picture with a bird in it - 7 from me |

Terje Haakonsenby TrollManComment: Thanks Pixl. I updated the image info so you can see the info there but I used 1/1000 and ISO 400. I actually did not at all remove noise so this shows how clean the 20D is with higher ISO values.
This is also a ~50% crop. |
