My interpretation of Beagleboy's Out of the Thicket.
Had hard time to get close to this tiny tit in a crowded city park without any cover. Finally I found 3 meters (10 feet) an optimal distance so I could get a not too big depth of field (my compact was a definite drawback here) while leaving the birdies undisturbed (but pretty nervous, everyone could tell it from their rapid movement).
Some enhancement with levels and curves, slight USM and a tiny bit of CA removal, nothing more was done.

Thank you for all the comments, it was nice to read them. Some answers from me to you:

That's exactly why I decided to use this angle and not something else with a thin branch as in the original. Thanks.

Very close, he's a great tit, parus major.

Would have liked it mroe if the left side was cropped out.
Being this a tribute to the Bokeh winner, I must have kept something out of field of depth. This also helped me keeping the eyes on the tree and the birdie, not allowing them to wander around in a homogenously textured image.

I know it's not that good at all, but I like it better than most voters do. Thank you, anyway.
