I love the soothing colors in this image. The man in his blue shirt provides a perfect focal point. I like that two windows are shuttered, two are not, and two are partially open. This is a beautiful and interesting image - well done! |

The shapes and the contrast of light and dark work very well here.

I kept thinking about this image after I voted on this challenge and, although I gave it a good score to begin with, I came back to bump it up. I would love to know the rest of the story here. Great find!! |

I find this to be a very interesting (and somewhat disturbing) image. I'm really curious as to how this was accomplished. I can find many levels in meaning in this image. |

Beautiful shapes and tones in this image. It is nice to see what can be accomplished with desaturation in a minimal editing challenge. I think the interesting black patterns in the glass and the impact of the person in the image would have been lessened in a colorful image. Good job! |

Financial LockDownby TiberiusComment: Voted before... coming around to comment...
This is so timely and so well done. I love the contrast between the rustic oranges and woodgrain of the object being guarded by the tiny padlock and the much more modernistic bokah area. The individual who seems to be in a suit adds to the mystery and irony of the image. I'm looking forward to seeing the story behind the image when the challenge is over. |

Grandpa's Toolsby ShaneBlakeComment: The colors in this image are wonderful. Great composition, texture and tones... your Grandpa would be very proud to have his toolbox transformed into art! Can't vote on this one, but it would have been a 10 if I could have voted. |

Heartsby beatabgComment: Besides showing us a beautiful, intriguing door, you have managed to include the wonderful grain and textures of the wood. I think this is one of the top images in this challenge. |
