1.8.09 the roosters

The reason they're dumped. Sadly it's very easy to buy chickens in the pet shops here, and people think they're going to be able to keep them for laying eggs, but the chickens grow up to be roosters. There are by-laws here that you can keep hens, but not roosters in town. So .... the roosters get 'freed' and end up on the side of roads in parking areas. Went back and visited the boys today with some pellets.
