That is one amazing collection of handmade paper you have there. The colours are quite nice, and you have great DOF and clarity. Considering how nice this paper is, you might have gained a point or 2 if you have shown some of the really nice textures.. Great shot.... good luck in the challenge.

I have no idea how you did this, but I really like it. This is a fantastic example of the "out of the box" images that has appeal. Deserves an 8, and I will re-visit this one on my next pass.

Wonderful photo. Very crisp, clear and great DOF. I found the presence of the two ladies a tad distracting, but not enough to sway my score. You should do well in this very difficult challenge.

Free Range Chicken

Actually,,, the appropriate footwear for the Range Chicken are low cut runners in varying colours... depending on the type of range tthey roam on. It of course goes without saying that all footwear must be in sync with the other apparel.

This won't win you any ribbons, but I like it.

An absolutely stunning photo of a grey owl. Very clear, great DOF and you have managed to capture the intensity in the owl's eyes. Very nice indeed, a very worthy 10.

A Shady Character

Of course he's shady,,, he's wearing a Blue Jay's hat... could be worse I guess,,, he could be wearing a Maple Leaf Hat.. Not a bad photo and good negative space but you could have made him look even shadier by partially lighting his facial features and introducing shadows. I like it, and scored it above average. Considering that he is dancing with his fiance, one would think he would focus his attention on her and not the photographer. A nice photo, but I do believe it would have greater appeal if both faces were visible. I find the background a bit distracting. Overall a good photo and should do fairly well. Good luck.
