My Brother Bobby indianzfanComment: Does Dave know you borrowed his shirt? LOL
Good portrait; lighting is effective but a bit warm for my taste. The shirt is also a bit "busy," along with the undershirt peeking out...it seems to have a bit of print on it and together that gives the eye too much to take in, IMHO. I would have preferred either no undershirt or the hawaiian shirt opened with a more complimentary undershirt. But that's just me. Good effort, regardless. :o) |

Me and Myselfby artvetComment: Beautiful...maybe a bit more light or some dodging around her shirt/face in the mirror? Wonderful job. :o) |

d70.by the-O-sterComment: I would really like this one except for one thing...the reflections in the glasses seem to show clothing and miscellaneous equipment rather than something more visually appealing. Focus and detail are excellent, and I love the background. The reflections may be just a nitpick, but I would really like to see something more interesting or attention grabbing than laundry. Excellent attempt. :o) |

Kellyby TallblokeComment: Lighting appears to be a bit harsh, resulting in shadows on her face, neck, and chest. The BG is also a bit distracting. Good pose and focus, would like a bit of an off-centered approach but that's just me. This has a lot of potential with some minor lighting adjustments IMHO. :o) |

Forty-Nineby charmayneComment: Good pose, lighting seems to work well; there's just something I can't put my finger on that seems a bit harsh. Perhaps a bit too much warmth or red? I don't know. Excellent focus and detail. :o) |

Contemplationby waterliliesComment: Nicely composed; would like a crop from the top to bring her into the frame more. Perhaps a levels adjustment or some slight dodging to highlight her a bit more? She seems a tad dark on my monitor. :o) |

Bill & Kimby TooCoolComment: Very nice; love the dreamy quality. Not sure about the "studio" portion of the challenge, as it is debatable whether or not outside is a studio, but it's a good shot nonetheless...so I won't down it for that reason. :o) |

1860's in technicolorby ladpupmoeComment: Kudos for going out on a limb with this one. I think it would be much more effective without the distractions of the border and the cat. :o) |
