I love the curves, not so much the leaf....I think it breaks up your pattern a bit. Nice color and contrast, as well as exposure. :)

This is a good attempt...the pattern is there, but the angle in which you've captured it is a bit flat. There's not any kind of dynamic in the image to keep the voter's eyes moving through the picture. You also have a bit of a yellowy color cast going on, which will probably deduct points from your score. Your image is on the small side; always use the entire 640 pixel width/length when you can because people like big images. I hope I don't sound too critical or condescending...I just want to help people improve. Perhaps moving to the right or left, and angling the camera a bit so that we can see some depth in the image...the 3D of the icing and the candies...it would help. Use your editing program to sharpen up the lines, enhance the colors, and remove the color cast. PM me if you have any questions or comments about what I've said. Good luck! :)

This is very nice...love the B/W and the contrasts. It's a bit off center, which kind of distracts. I might wonder what it looks like cropped in from the top and bottom (and therefore a tiny bit off the sides) to remove the top corners and the black area from the bottom...just a thought. Great eye and this is a wonderful find nonetheless. :)

I like part of this image, but there is another part of which I'm not particularly fond. I think the pattern aspect would be much stronger without the addition of the oranges and the foreground candles. The contrasting red/pink background and the row of tealights at an angle is perfect for the pattern, but when you added the foreground elements it broke it up (all my uneducated opinion of course) I think it dissipated the effect. Without those things, and maybe angled just a tiny bit (2 or 3 degrees) clockwise, I think you'd have a winner. :)

This is beautiful, but I don't find a username of Crayon Go Round...perhaps this is for Crayon. I am not one to be overly anal about challenge interpretation anymore, so that's fine with me. I think it's a well though-out image with nice composition and color. :)

This is lovely...very well-composed with good exposure and color. I think the surf is a tiny bit more rough than I would choose for "tranquil" but I'm sure others find the sound of the waves very calming. I think you will place well with this image. :)
