Girl in a Hatby sir_bazzComment: I love this...I hope it does well. Great color, composition, and clarity. Needs maybe some dodging on the eyes and the cheek/hair on this side, but no biggie. :) |

The Magic of Wishesby JudiComment: I hope this is legal because I would hate to see such a cute image DQd. Adorable idea; great color. Innovative. :) |

RED!!!by jadkpicsComment: Wow...elegant and sexy at the same time. Nice dress and pose; would prefer a less centered composition but lovely all the same. :) |

Pots of Colorby SteveinnzComment: If this were not quite so bright in the whites and a little more detail was visible in the contents of the pots, this would be a ribboner. Gorgeous color and composition. :) |

Pink sonata by crayonComment: Wow...this is very pretty. The petal edges look oversharpened and the burning of the sky is a tad excessive, but lovely nonetheless. :) |

New York Times by JPRComment: Great captures...nice expression and it's good that you included some of the "environment" in the picture. I do think the man in the foreground on the right really distracts the eye though, his newspaper just pulls us in to it because it's the brightest part of the image. Without that you might have a winner! Good shot anyway, though. :) |

Bubblesby Meridian SageComment: Nice color, lighting, and clarity; makes for a very interesting abstract macro... however...it is quite vague in it's connection to the "Mother" challenge. It's difficult for a viewer to establish a connection to "Mother" by looking at bubbles. I have a feeling you'll suffer in the voting for that reason alone. DPC is historically rigid on challenge interpretation and if your voters can't get the connection within a few seconds, you are out of luck. Best wishes in this and subsequent challenges. |
