Wedding Dayby PascalComment: A fun moment to capture for the bride and groom. I do wish I could see his feet in the frame, and perhaps less room on the top. The bride's head being tilted back like that makes her look like she has a double chin, which she surely doesn't have (she has a beautiful figure). Good luck in the challenge! :) |

A Touch Of Yellowby 3DsArcherComment: Beautiful colors and softness. I think the framing is a bit "off" but I can't really explain what I would do differently...irises are so oddly shaped that it's difficult to frame a shot of them that "works." The light band on the left side is distracting. Good luck in the challenge! :) |

Blue Faced Honeyeaterby emaynerComment: What an interesting bird. The image seems to lack some punch...the light and the colors are a bit flat. The branch behind the bird's head is cutting the image almost in half, with nothing going on above it. I'd crop it off completely, and some of the space on the right as well. Noise reduction, saturation, and cropping might make this have a bit more "oomph." Good luck in the challenge. :) |

China's Pastby jbsmithanaComment: Emotive capture...love the contrast in textures on her jacket and her face. I'd crop out the heavy vertical line on the right side, it seems to pull me away from her face and to the side. Good luck in the challenge! :) |

Reflectionsby OdysseyF22Comment: What a lovely reflection. The image almost seems surreal due to the symmetry from top to bottom. The issue I'd like to comment upon is the fact that your horizon line really chops the image into two halves, which is not very dynamic. In an image like this, I'd rather see less sky and more reflection, or less reflection and more sky, but I can definitely see where you were going with this because of the symmetrical composition. Good luck in the challenge. |

Hot air risiingby paulb_17Comment: I bet this was a sight to behold in person...as it's captured, the image is from too far away to really make that "wow" impact on the viewer. There is a lack of contrast and saturation as well. The fence along the bottom of the frame is a distraction...I'd crop it out and crop on the right for sure. Good luck in the challenge. :) |
