| Great work. In both most cities in China I had a difficult time getting people to pose for me as well as China town in NYC. In fact if I poited a camera I usaully was yelled at. Nice editing and processing. |

| Emotive capture...love the contrast in textures on her jacket and her face. I'd crop out the heavy vertical line on the right side, it seems to pull me away from her face and to the side. Good luck in the challenge! :) |

| The hat is a little overexposed, and I would like to see the expression of her eye but it is too shadowed. |

| love the simple symmetric background. great subject. love how you get the drama of a blown highlight on her hat, which we don't need to see details of, while keeping all the details of her face. The fact that she's not looking at us gives this a candid feel, but also hints at character: she doesn't have time to sit staring at a camera! It suggests a practical nature, though her expression hints at emotional depth. A first-class portrait. |

| The woman's face is full of character and quite well captured, though a bit too dar around the visible eye. The blown out top of her hat, however, is very distracting. |
